CP Builders, a Santa Barbara-based custom homebuilder, is seeking a qualified and motivated Assistant Construction Superintendent to support high-end residential projects in Montecito and Santa Barbara.
The ideal candidate has hands-on construction experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. This role reports directly to the Project Superintendent(s) and plays a key part in maintaining quality, safety, and schedule adherence on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with managing and scheduling daily on-site activities
Read and interpret architectural and construction plans
Attend and contribute to on-site project meetings
Coordinate with inspectors and ensure successful inspections
Maintain a safe and organized job site
Collaborate with the Project Manager and team to resolve issues proactively
Maintain daily logs and upload site photos using project management software
Requirements:
Two (2) years’ experience as an assistant superintendent for a custom homebuilder or equivalent onsite construction experience.
Ability to read and understand architectural, structural and landscape plans
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Ability to follow directions and execute tasks efficiently
