We are seeking Electricians who must plan, organize, and complete installations and repairs of electrical components and systems on commercial, residential, and industrial projects independently or as part of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Comprehends and implements safety policies and procedures per the Company IIPP, Employee Handbook, NFPA 70E, and OSHA.
Stays apprised of revisions to the National Electric Code (NEC) and other relevant legislation, building, and safety regulations.
Experienced in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and manuals to install, calibrate, and maintain electrical systems and components.
Possess a proficient skill set in support of the installation, repair, maintenance, inspection, and testing of commercial, industrial, and residential electrical systems and components.
Experienced in measuring, cutting, bending, threading, and installing wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems, and other wire raceway systems.
Minimize construction debris/waste by properly planning projects and using proper recycling facilities.
Ability to troubleshoot relay logic and complex circuitry and motor controls.
Proficient at operating industry-related hand tools and equipment.
Thoroughly documents repairs and modifications.
Supervise and participate in on-the-job training of Apprentice Electricians.
Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy while interacting with colleagues, customers, and vendors.
Perform other project-related duties and assignments as instructed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
MUST have a current CA Journeyman Electrician card.
Valid driver's license and have own transportation.
Must have basic hand tools, benders, certified multimeter
Must have Basic First Aid and Adult CPR/AED Certificates or obtain them within three months of the hire date.
Working Conditions:
This job requires working in all weather elements and varying site conditions.
Must be able to utilize construction site sanitary facilities.
The job requires the employee to always have the necessary personal tools with them.
Work safely at various heights, from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, or other work areas.
Work in exposed voltage areas, switchgear rooms, utility holes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, attics, and under houses.
Properly wear personal protective equipment at all times.
Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.
Able to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and overtime as required.
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead.
Lift 51 pounds.
Constantly moving on your feet.
Completing overhead work for full-day assignments.
Possess good vision (normal or corrected).
