We are passionate about creating exceptional events and experiences for our clients, and we're looking for a skilled Event Production Tech/Manager to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented person who takes initiative and problem solver to oversee the technical aspects of our events and ensure smooth execution from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event production, technical setup, and management, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Event experience isn’t a must. We’re more interested in someone with a ‘can do’ attitude who gets the job done!
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and manage technical aspects of events, including lighting, sound, video, and staging.
Work closely with clients to understand their event needs and provide technical solutions.
Oversee setup, operation, and breakdown of technical equipment.
Manage and supervise a team of technicians and crew members when needed.
Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure all equipment is functioning properly before and during events.
Maintain and inventory technical equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
Collaborate with other departments, including event planning and production teams, to ensure seamless integration of technical elements.
Qualifications:
Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing conditions.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
Proven experience in event production and technical management, including lighting, sound, and video.
Strong technical skills and knowledge of event production equipment.
Preferred Experience:
Event experience is a bonus but not a requirement.
Experience managing a team a plus.
