Work Description
Installation and repair of all types of refrigeration and HVAC systems, including but not limited to self-contained units, reach-in coolers/freezers, walk-in coolers/freezers, rack systems, ice machines, A/C units, make-up air units, boilers, chillers, etc. Will primarily respond to service calls, and perform installation tasks, but will also do preventative maintenance on equipment occasionally.
Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing customer systems, performing scheduled maintenance, performing warranty work, and suggesting and performing system improvements, modifications, etc.
Requirements
Must be willing to work in & the surrounding Santa Barbara area
Self-motivated
Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision
Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record
Must submit to a drug screening test and criminal background check
Willingness to be involved with on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant technical licenses, training, and/or certifications
EPA CERTIFICATION
Preferred 2 years HVAC/REFRIGERATION experience and/or a degree in Heating and Air Conditioning Technology
Commercial repair experience
Demonstrate effective troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Effectively manage time and resources to control costs, enhance efficiencies, and meet commitments
Build strong relationships, knowledge, and understanding of customer needs/expectations
