This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Santa Barbara Harbor, and surrounding area
Position includes diagnosing and determining proper parts and labor efforts. This includes on site and travel. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of marine systems and a basic knowledge of boats.
Must have skills:
Inboard/outboard engines (gasoline, and diesel), understanding of marine cooling systems, fuel systems, electrical, propellers/shafting, diagnostics and experience with corrosion and saltwater environment
Should have or be able to use tools necessary to complete each task
– Determines engine, drives, and control condition by conducting inspection and diagnostic testing
– Complete overhauls, as well as other repairs and services identified during a diagnostic process
– maintains engine, and Vessel records with accurate documentation of service and repair
– Except ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
– Performs other related duties as assigned
