This temporary part time position for Goleta Water District requires a commercial drivers license with a tank endorsement with the ability to drive a 2,000 gallon water truck designated for the Districts Recycled Water Hauling Program. The Recycled Water Applicator will also receive recycled water training and will apply the recycled water for the hauling program. Hours worked in this position are not to exceed 29 hours in a week nor 1000 hours in a fiscal year (July 1 thru June 30).
The Recycled Water Applicator will also assist the Distribution Operators with daily tasks, such as the Meter Replacement Program, driving around commercial vehicles, and other duties as needed. The Recycled Water Applicator will be supervised by the Chief Distribution Operator and will report to the Recycled Water Hauling Program Manager when deliveries are needed.
