DV Therapy is currently seeking qualified, dedicated and compassionate professionals to provide in-clinic Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services to children, youth, and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities who are in need of assistance to reduce challenging behaviors.
Responsibilities:
As a behavior technician you will work directly with children with special needs (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder) in our ABA Clinic.
Behavior technicians will utilize ABA strategies/techniques to reduce challenging behaviors and teach replacement behaviors and other skills (e.g., communication, socialization).
Behavior technicians will be given high quality training, emphasizing hands-on learning.
Behavior technicians will be supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and receive ongoing training/feedback.
Behavior technicians will also record data in multiple forms to determine the effectiveness of a treatment plan for assigned clients.
Other administrative tasks will be assigned as needed (e.g., creating stimuli for clients).
What You'll Need:
Minimum high school degree or equivalent, college preferred.
Must pass background check.
Reliable car, proof of auto insurance and valid driver's license required.
TB test required.
Bachelor's or enrollment in a B.A. or B.S program preferred.
ABA experience preferred.
RBT certification a plus.
