Job Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer/Senior Accountant will direct and oversee the financial activities of the Company, direct the preparation of current financial reports and summaries, and create forecasts predicting future growth. This individual will also be responsible in accounting for company financials, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping, invoicing and oversee payroll functions to ensure compliance as needed. Position begins full time at 40hrs/wk. with flexible schedule within normal business hours, that ranges from Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, flash report, tax
returns W-2, pay payroll quarterly taxes, and governmental agency reports.
Compares sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; makes or oversees
any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.
Reviews planning process and suggests improvements to current methods.
Analyzes operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination.
Works with the Vice President and other executives to coordinate planning, analyze, advise on company financials
and establish priorities for the planning process.
Understanding of core accounting principles such as credit and debit payments, general ledger accounting, and
collections practices.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent management and supervisory skills.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills, detailed orientated.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with accounting software and data entry
Experience in QuickBooks, Famous software and PETiger is a PLUS
Knowledgeable in accounting rules and procedures
Advance knowledge and experience in spreadsheet/ Excel
Extensive knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, and payroll taxes.
Ability to work independently, remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, type min. of 45 word per minute
Education and Experience:
Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
Minimal 1 yr. of experience in financial management preferred
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
