Are you passionate about early childhood education and the great outdoors? We are a cozy, at-home daycare dedicated to providing nature-based learning and play for infants and toddlers. We believe in hands-on, real-life experiences that introduce children to the wonders of nature while fostering creativity, curiosity, and exploration.
Who we are:
In our program, we see children as capable learners—artists, innovators, and independent thinkers. They’re curious about nature, their surroundings, and the world, always exploring new experiences and eager to share their ideas. At Sol Atelier, teachers collaborate as research partners, providing top-notch materials and resources. We facilitate discussions and encourage children to take appropriate risks in their social interactions within their community and environment.
We take a modern and diverse approach to education, inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, Montessori method, and Waldorf education. We recognize the uniqueness of each child's learning journey. Our focus is on meeting their individual needs through a wide range of learning experiences, tools, and methods. Our curriculum is shaped by children's questions and interests, sparked by teachers, the community, environment, or life events. This can lead to short explorations or long-term projects.
Responsibilities:
Provide nurturing care to infants and toddlers in a safe, supportive, and diverse-inspired environment.
