We are looking for a part-time tasting room associate. Saturdays are a must.
Responsibilities include:
Pouring and describing the wines, sharing the Babcock story, and offering standout customer service
Selling wine, non-wine merchandise, and wine club memberships
Operate cash register and handle transactions with attention to detail
Help to keep areas clean and professionally maintained
Restock inventories, wine and non-wine items when needed or asked
Work as a team player
Skills and Qualifications:
21 or older
Previous customer service experience
Wine and food knowledge a plus
Available to work weekends, holidays, and long hours (required)
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem solve while under stress
High-quality standards for hospitality and customer service
Communicate effectively with strong verbal communication skills
Problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to manage priorities
Professional appearance and demeanor
Team player, work well with others
Ability to lift and move 50 pounds repeatedly
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
