Job Overview
The culture of the winery revolves around food and wine and more importantly sitting down together with invited guests for lunch every day. Position is vital to ensure a well-stocked kitchen, lunch preparation and clean-up and overall cleanliness of the public areas of the winery. The position is YEAR ROUND.
Responsibilities and Duties
Shop for food, kitchen supplies and paper products
Prep and assist with the making of lunch.
Show kindness and hospitality to guests.
Set and clear table
Clean up kitchen, and wash dishes after lunch.
General housekeeping in bathrooms, offices, and kitchen area.
Ensure food handling meets safe practices.
Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED required.
Kitchen work or housekeeping experience
Conversant in English
Outgoing personality, ability to work with strong personalities.
Strong work ethic. Show initiative tackling problems.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods and climb stairs.
Work Period
Hours are Monday – Friday, approximately 10 am until 3 pm, depending on guests. During harvest hours will be extended. This position is part time and nonexempt.
