We are looking for very energetic, friendly, compassionate, experienced Medical Assistant to be a part of our team.
This part-time MEDICAL ASSISTANT position is available immediately. It may lead to full-time for the right candidate.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must provide Medical Assistant and CPR certificate
Must have experience with EHR, practice management software, insurance eligibility, prior-authorizations, collecting co-pays and patient balances
Must be professional, compassionate, detail oriented, a quick learner, have good computer skills and solid medical office knowledge.
Must be organized, able to prioritize and prepare charts prior to patient appointment.
Must be able to efficiently room 18-30 patients per day.
Must be organized and have patient charts prepped
Must be able to manage a heavy telephone load, effectively schedule appointments, document chart notes and perform medication refills
Must be able to prepare and perform injections, EKG tests, spirometry, urinalysis, allergy testing, holter testing, sleep apnea testing etc.
Must be to clean and sterilize instruments and procedure room.
Demonstrates adherence to and observes all safety policies and procedures
Maintains and adheres to HIPAA, confidentiality, and privileged communications (patient, employee, and corporation).
COMPENSATION: Pay will be commensurate with your experience and skills. $14-$18/per hour. full time employees eligible for two weeks PTO, paid major holidays, retirement plan participation.
