About the Role
We’re currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to support a pediatric case in Santa Maria. This is a per diem opportunity with a strong preference for a minimum 2-day weekly commitment to help ensure continuity of care.
About the Patient:
An infant with a congenital disorder affecting kidney development, muscle tone, and potentially vision. The child is being discharged home and will require skilled nursing support for:
Peritoneal dialysis
PEG tube feedings
Medication management
Monitoring developmental progress
Respite care for the family
Shift Details:
Daytime shifts (6–8 hours)
Flexible scheduling with consistent weekly presence preferred
Ideal Candidate:
Pediatric experience, especially with medically fragile infants
Skilled in PEG tube feedings and medication administration
Comfortable providing respite care and family support
Reliable, empathetic, and detail-oriented
