Excel Personnel Services is currently recruiting for an HR Administrator in the Santa Maria area. This position is full time and temp to hire with the hours from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The pay rate for this position will be decided based on your experience. Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support HR department in all HR functions, including:
o Hiring and Firing employees when necessary
o Data entry into payroll system and other systems
o Enter claims for workers compensation into the company system
o Answer employee questions
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Must have previous experience working in Human Resources
o Experience with FMLA, interviewing employees, data entry, etc¦
Ability to properly communicate through both oral and written correspondence
Ability to work independently, with little to no instruction, as well as on a team
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task, properly prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Experience using Word, Excel, and File Center programs
Must be able to demonstrate strong customer service skills and professionalism at all times
Must be able to ensure complete confidentiality
