Robert Half is offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in Buellton, California. The selected candidate will be part of our team, working in the industry, and will be responsible for a range of functions including benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Provide timely responses to team member inquiries related to our benefit programs.
Assist team members with benefit enrollments and changes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Educate team members on our benefit plan offerings to ensure understanding and optimal utilization.
Address general inquiries from team members through phone calls and emails.
Ensure accurate data updates in the Human Resources/Payroll and benefits systems including the 401(k) Retirement plan recordkeeping system.
Process and review benefit enrollment changes, ensuring they are done in a timely and accurate manner.
Review documentation provided by team members for beneficiaries and dependents to ensure compliance with benefit plan documents and regulations.
Provide assistance with leave administration by handling requests for a leave of absence as directed.
Notify team members who have left the company about their benefit plan participation.
Maintain strict confidentiality while handling records related to benefits and leave administration.
Assist with billing invoices and payment agreements for those with unpaid premium balances owed.
Provide information relating to disability, retirement plan assets, and employment verifications to third parties.
Assist the compensation and benefits team with various events and projects, promoting teamwork, partnership, and collaboration.
Requirements:
Expertise in managing Benefit Functions
Excellent Communication skills
Strong knowledge of Compliance procedures
Proven experience in Employee Relations
Experience in Benefits Administration
Knowledge of Compensation & Benefits
Experience in handling Open Enrollment processes
