Job Summary Overview:
The Asbestos Supervisor responsibilities entail the direct supervision of asbestos field worker and project and site supervision and maintenance of the removal of hazardous material. The supervisor is responsible for the daily functions of proper abatement in accordance with OSHA, Clean Air Agencies, LnI and other regulatory agencies.
Major Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions):
Working infield supervisor capable of completing projects in the field as well as supervise asbestos workers
Able to supervise and train field workers
Able to supervise and manage projects in both commercial and residential
Able to communicate fluently and efficiently with field workers, office staff, customers and regulatory agencies
Able to present themselves professionally to clients, office staff, customers and homeowners
Able to interpret and practice industry standards and regulations
Able to complete and have an understanding job forms (Waste Manifest, Air Sample Data Sheet, Timecards, Daily Foreman Activity Report, Material Usage Sheet, etc.)
Complete and perform abatement in a timely and efficient manner
Attend training as needed
Drive company vehicle to and from job sites
Capable of managing and ordering materials as needed for ongoing projects
Maintain good driving record
Provide efficient, diplomatic, and professional, customer service
Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned by supervisors
Position Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:
Over 3 years’ experience as supervisor
Asbestos and OSHA Certification required for jobs
Good Driving Record
Complete background investigation
Reading and comprehension skills
Write and communicate effectively in English
Customer Service Oriented
