Beautiful Santa Rita Hills ranch (between Buelton & Lompoc) in need of an experienced ranch hand. Ability to work well with others a must. A warm face to the community and neighboring properties. Ability to patrol the property, welcome vendors and guests onto the property, mend fencing, post right to pass signs, maintain game cameras (replace batteries and access chips, procedure can be taught), hands on work a ranch requires and other duties as assigned. Ability to summarize results weekly and report any areas of concern. The plan is to allow the property to return to nature, to rest and repair. Birds of prey and other rehabilitated wildlife will be welcomed to the property. Oversee wildlife safety and security. Applicant will need to be on the ground 3-4 times a week, 2-4 hours minimum.
