Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery and equipment to support various construction and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation, mechanical knowledge, and a valid commercial driver's license. Duties: - Operate a range of heavy equipment, including front loader trucks, bulldozers, cranes, and roll off trucks, in a safe and efficient manner. - Load and unload materials, such as concrete mixers, using specialized equipment. - Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition. - Follow safety guidelines and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment. - Load and haul materials to and from construction sites. - Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs as needed. - Work closely with other team members to coordinate equipment movements and ensure efficient project progress. - Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and usage. Qualifications: - Proven experience operating heavy equipment, including Caterpillar machinery. - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and a clean driving record. - Strong mechanical knowledge and experience performing equipment maintenance and repairs. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. - Physical stamina to operate heavy equipment in various weather conditions. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to follow safety guidelines and regulations. - High school diploma or equivalent required.
