Job Opportunity: Skilled Maintenance Technician
American Stages Realty & Management is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team! If you have a passion for hands-on work and a knack for solving problems, this role is for you. We are looking for someone with expertise in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall, and general handyman work
### Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and drywall installation/repair.
- Execute carpentry projects such as framing, door installation, and cabinetry repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address repair needs promptly.
- Assist with remodeling projects, including demolition, renovations, and installations.
- Respond to work orders efficiently and communicate updates with the property management team.
- Ensure safety standards and building codes are met in all work performed.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
### Qualifications:
- Proven experience in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall, and general maintenance tasks.
- Ability to adapt to varying scopes of work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
### Compensation:
- Starting pay: $23 per hour .
- Higher pay available for highly skilled candidates with their own tools and transportation.
