Seeking 3 highly motivated individuals to install Motorola Two-Way radio equipment in mobile applications as well as structural applications. Experience with installation of fire station alert systems from Locution or similar vendors is also a highly desirable skill. The candidate should have a stable work history, mechanical aptitude, willingness to learn new skills, and be a team player. One year experience minimum installing Two-Way Radios, Emergency Equipment, or Audio Equipment in vehicles is required, with 3+ years preferred. This is a full-time temporary position with a highly reputable and innovated company.
Experience/Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED, Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Ability to follow directions, both written and verbal
Supports co-workers and builds positive working relationships with all team members
Mechanical aptitude, understand and demonstrate the use of Volt Ohm Meter (VOM)
Experience installing 12vdc equipment in vehicles
Experience with the installation of data cables and mobile data equipment mounts
A plus to have experience in telecommunications, electrical, construction, or related field preferred
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and climb ladders up to 40 feet in length
Must be able to work outdoors and stand for long periods of time with temperature variations
Must be able to work in tight spaces
