Surface Waterproofing Job Requirements:
Some of the most common problems with decks and balconies include inadequate pitch or slope, water damage, improper flashing, improper installation of waterproofing systems and structural repairs. Your job will entail dealing with installations with Westcoat, Plydeck, Life Deck and urethane waterproofing systems or simply maintaining balconies and decks, EmpireWorks has teams of specialized repair crews that are experts in maintenance and reconstruction for multifamily and commercial properties.
Ability to perform waterproofing installation on the following:
Elevated Balconies
Entry Decks
Elevated Walkways
Landings
Patios
Podium Decks
Job Requirements
must have 2+ years of Waterproofing experience
Must have Experience with WestCoat, Plidek & Life Deck.
Must be able to remove existing overburden, pitching planter, conc floor, installing tar pitch product, drainage protection, materials, installing waterproofing membranes and applicable trims, edging and accessories.
Must have basic tools, company will provide major equipment.
Experience in residential constructions is a plus.
Must supply Hard Hat, long pants, and boots.
Ability to install scuppers, flashing, edges.
