Labor Finders is currently hiring a trainee mechanic for a reputable repair shop. Prefer to hire and train but will certainly consider experienced small engine mechanic as well. Repairs mainly small tools and equipment. Drills, hammer drills, nail guns, chain saws, blowers, weed trimmers and other construction/business related electric/pneumatic/gas tools. Applicants should have an interest in hands-on type work, and not be afraid to get their hands dirty. We will provide most tools needed for this job. However, we encourage those that have them to bring his/her own tools. This is an entry level full time position. Applicants should be able to be on their feet most of the day, and be able to work independent of others with little direction. Some computer work required, which we will also train employees for. This is a Monday-Friday position, with the occasional Saturday (very seldom) if needed.
We are interested in energetic individuals that want to learn. Duties include (but not limited to)
Disassembly/diagnosis and repair of electric/pneumatic/gas tools. For this you will use a variety of hand/power tools and test equipment.
Parts lookup via internet and manuals and filling out of proper paperwork for ordering.
Answering phones and phoning customers for updates on the status of their repairs.
Some lifting of up to 75 lbs required. Help given when needed.
Possible check in of parts and stocking/counting inventory when needed.

Salary: $13.50 to $15.00 /hour
