Accomplishes manufacturing results through leadership of the team including;
o Communicating job expectations and assignments
o Planning – scheduling of job orders
o Developing personnel - performance monitoring, appraising job results; coaching, training, and disciplining employees
o Resourcing – recruiting, orienting, and right-sizing the production staff
o Developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures
Plans and executes workflow by proper scheduling of work assignments to meet needs of our production and sales demand, as well as establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, and resolving obstacles in collaboration with Operations Team
Drives quality in both products and service by establishing and enforcing organization standards and utilizing data and methods
Collaborates with Operations Team to ensure adequate supply of materials; availability of equipment, tools, and fixtures; and effective utilization of work instructions and procedures
Establishes and monitors goals for individuals and work cells. Drives an environment of continual improvement
Responsible for plant facilities and security during the second shift and is responsible for coordinating maintenance and resolution of issues with the first shift facilities and security coordinators
Ensures standards are met in terms of excellent quality at all times
Experience/Education/Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience supervising, managing or leading groups
Familiar with a variety of manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
Computer literacy including familiarity with MS suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
Able to analyze problems and come up with creative, cost effective solutions
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people in both English and Spanish (Bi-lingual required)
Positive attitude and team player
Flexible and able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
Quality and detail-oriented
Proactive self-starter
