QC Inspector – CNC Machining Shop
We are a growing precision CNC machining shop in the aerospace sector, seeking a detail-oriented
and experienced QC Inspector to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring that our parts meet the
highest quality standards required by our customers and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections using precision measurement tools.
- Interpret and apply GD&T; per engineering drawings and specifications.
- Document inspection results, create reports, and maintain accurate records.
- Work closely with machinists and programmers to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO quality standards.
- Assist in calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a QC Inspector in a CNC machining environment (aerospace
preferred).
- Strong knowledge of GD&T; and blueprint reading.
- Proficiency with inspection tools: micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc.
- Experience with CMM (Helmel) is a plus.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
