Job Summary
The Master Production Scheduler develops and manages the facility’s production schedule to support forecasted demand, customer commitments, and on-time delivery. This role works closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Planning to ensure schedule accuracy, resource alignment, and continuous improvement in production planning.
Key Responsibilities
Create, maintain, and analyze the master production schedule.
Align customer forecasts, sales orders, and capacity requirements with production plans.
Coordinate schedule changes with production, planning, and engineering teams.
Monitor schedule adherence, production efficiency, and shipment performance.
Identify capacity constraints and support S&OP planning activities.
Track progress, report delays, and work with teams to resolve issues.
Prepare reports, update systems, and support customer/planning meetings.
Mentor planners and support improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum 5 years of production planning experience in aerospace, automotive, or mechanical manufacturing.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills; MS Project experience preferred.
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of production planning and scheduling best practices.
