Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a production environment, preferably food processing with experience in TIG welding and Stainless Steel.
This role involves assembling and fabricating components according to specifications, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards. The Fabricator/Welder will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the production of high-quality products.
Duties
Assemble and fabricate metal components based on blueprints and schematics.
Perform welding tasks using various techniques and equipment to ensure strong, durable joints.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately build products.
Utilize tools such as micrometers for precise measurements during fabrication.
Conduct pipe threading operations as required for specific projects.
Operate forklifts safely to transport materials within the facility.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while ensuring quality standards are met.
Qualifications
Proven experience in welding and fabricating stainless steel.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process.
Familiarity with various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, etc.) is required.
Experience with tools such as micrometers, measuring tapes, and other precision instruments.
Ability to operate forklifts; certification is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
