Devereux is seeking for a full-time Food Service Worker to work at our on-campus residential programs located in Goleta. Duties may include, but are not limited to: preparing, serving, and transporting meals following a planned menu and special dietary needs as outlined by a dietician; maintaining a clean kitchen, ensuring all dishes and utensils are clean, assist with care and maintenance of equipment and supplies; coordinating food inventory, storage, ordering, and shopping. This is a full-time position Monday through Friday, daytime hours. The candidate hired for this position will be the only one working in the Kitchen so you must having cooking experience.
HS Diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position required. Must have experience with cooking and preparing meals and running a kitchen. Food safety certification preferred.
