Small Certified Public Accountant firm is in search of a detail-oriented front office manager/administrative assistant. This position is 40 hours/week with possible extended hours during tax season, January – April 15th.
Objective of this role:
Answer phone calls and take or deliver messages as needed
Welcome clients to the office
Book and manage appointments for multiple CPAs
Perform clerical tasks such as typing letters, sorting and sending mail
Maintaining files, scanning, and ensuring the overall efficiency of the office
Process tax returns and financial statements
Process client credit card transactions
Keep an inventory of office supplies and order new materials as needed
Keep office calendar and coordinate office functions
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma, college degree a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Mail Merge, and Office 365
Experienced in QuickBooks
Organized and detail oriented
Works well under the pressure of deadlines
