We are currently hiring for a Document Control Associate position in the Lompoc area. This position is part-time, temporary, and expected to last until August 25th. The payrate for this position is $12 an hour. If you are interested and qualified please apply ASAP!
Duties and Responsibilities
⢠Perform clerical documentation duties such as filing, reproduction typing, and handling document or information requests
⢠Scan quality records and save on the RVI
⢠Assist other departments in locating records
⢠Prepare records for storage and retention according to QS retention system
⢠Maintain the Record Retention log for all stored documents
⢠Act as a liaison with Secure Document and Storage vendor
⢠Adhere to all company rules and regulations, including safety, security, and ISO 9001 work instructions.
⢠Understand the necessity of and apply skills for accuracy, completeness, attention to detail, demand of deadlines and demonstration of strong team skills
⢠Act as a backup in preparing documents
⢠Propose more efficient documentation procedure methods as appropriate
⢠Provide accurate information in a prompt manner such as retrieval of scanned records from RVI
Skills and Qualifications
⢠High school graduate or GED plus one to two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
⢠Working knowledge of MS Office programs for at least 6 months and previous document control experience is desirable
⢠The ability to talk, hear and communicate effectively in English
⢠The ability to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
⢠Use one or both hands for simple or power grasping
⢠Use fine manipulation with one or both hands, repetitive motions with hands
⢠The ability to stand, walk, bend or twist at the neck and/or waist
⢠The ability to grasp push and/or pull sometimes reaching overhead
⢠Normal 20/20 vision with corrective lenses if necessary
⢠The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet
