Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist prospective tenants in touring the property and viewing available units
- Provide information to potential tenants about rental rates, lease terms, and move-in specials
- Process rental applications, conduct background checks, and verify references
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are properly executed
- Collect security deposits and rental payments from tenants
- Coordinate move-in and move-out inspections with tenants
- Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
- Market available units through various advertising channels to attract prospective tenants
- Collaborate with property management team to develop and implement leasing strategies
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property leasing or sales is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with prospective tenants
- Knowledge of fair housing regulations and ability to ensure compliance
- Excellent conflict management and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in data entry and computer systems for managing tenant information
- Ability to negotiate lease terms and rental rates with prospective tenants
- Familiarity with facilities management and property maintenance practices
