The order entry clerk will work in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for reviewing and accurately entering customer orders, working closely with the Sales and Customer Service departments to ensure accuracy of orders, availability of product, and timely processing.
Job Duties:
Download, review and accurately enter orders into the database
Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data
Locate and correct data entry errors internally
File lost/damaged claims with freight carriers such as USPS, UPS and Fed-Ex
Use internal programs to track and update orders as needed
Prioritize rush orders
May occasionally require contacting customers by email or telephone
Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
Effective written and verbal communication skills, both internally and externally
Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
Able to multi-task and reassess priorities continually
Customer service
Education and formal training:
High School diploma or G.E.D equivalent required
Experience using MS office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and able to navigate the internet.
Job Type: Part-time (2-4 days per week depending on needs of company)

Data Entry: 1 year (Preferred)
