Local company is currently seeking an experienced Manager with Sales experience for its’ Central Coast location. This is a direct hire position with company vehicle provided and a competitive benefit package.
Responsibilities Include:
Assist with the hiring and managing of current employees, to include assisting with the day to day personnel aspects and training classes.
Assist with budgeting and cost management.
Prepare bid packages and sales quotes.
Identify/develop leads and acquire new accounts.
Identify customer needs and market appropriate products and services.
Maintain existing accounts by strengthening customer relationships.
Work with Accounts Receivable regarding customer collections when needed.
Develop and maintain strategic analysis of customer base, competition and market.
Ability to forecast short term and long-term sales figures.
Skills, Qualifications and Other:
Experience with manufacturing and/or construction materials.
Management skills and experience. Able to lead by example.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Possess strong leadership skills and work ethic.
Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
Goal and results oriented.
Self-motivated and customer oriented.
Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
Able to communicate and mediate effectively when needed.
Knowledge of Cal Trans, ACI and ASTM specifications a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree or 5 to 7 years equivalent industry experience.
Bilingual in Spanish helpful, or willing to learn.
Must be able to pass a DOT drug screen and physical exam.
Must have a clean motor vehicle record.
Enrollment is company's random drug and alcohol testing program will be required.
Schedule is Monday through Friday, hours could vary between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. There could be an occasional weekend day should the business need arise.
