Summary of Job Details
Works independently or as part of a team composed of trade and/or multi-trade workers and helpers. Performs maintenance carpentry work. Incumbent works from blueprints, drawings, models, or structural woodwork and equipment; build, repair, and install bins, cribs, counters, benches, partitions, doors, floors, stairs, casings, and trim using a variety of carpenter hand and power tools and standard measuring instruments; install ceiling and floor tiles, sheet rock, paneling, masonite, and wall coverings; replace and seal windows; may build cabinets and other wooden equipment in a shop using wood working machines such as a table saw, planer, and jointer; make shop computations relating to dimensions and fabrication of work; select necessary materials; and instruct semi-skilled or unskilled assistants. Proactive in providing a positive customer service environment.
Required Qualifications
1-3 years - Relevant experience repairing structural woodwork and equipment.

Knowledge of woodworking machines such as a table saw, planer, and jointer; experience working in a woodworking shop.
Special Conditions of Employment
Maintain a valid CA driver’s license, a clean DMV record and enrollment in the DMV Employer Pull-Notice Program
Satisfactory conviction history background check
