Job Title: Property Maintenance Technician
Location: Santa Maria & Lompoc
Position Overview:
Labor Finders is seeking dedicated Maintenance Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance and repair services at multi-family housing developments in Santa Maria and Lompoc. Your work will ensure that the properties remain safe, functional, and visually appealing for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance duties, including carpentry, plumbing, drywall, electrical, painting, and appliance repair.
Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools and equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues to provide effective and efficient repairs.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure property standards are met.
Collaborate with property management to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Five (5) years of experience in general maintenance, preferably within a multi-family housing environment.
Proficiency in various maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
Ability to operate and maintain hand and power tools effectively and safely.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license, ability to pass a background check and reliable transportation.
Benefits: Competitive pay $28 to $33 per hour depending on experience
