Description We are on the lookout for a methodical and diligent Bookkeeper to be a part of our team located in Santa Monica, California. As a Bookkeeper, you will be tasked with managing and reconciling accounts, processing payments and receivables, carrying out bank reconciliations, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities Oversee the processing and management of accounts payable and accounts receivable Carry out regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records Maintain up-to-date bookkeeping records and manage data entry tasks Leverage Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data Ensure timely execution of month-end close procedures Handle payroll responsibilities efficiently and accurately Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and reporting purposes Act proactively in resolving any customer inquiries related to their accounts Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required Ensure all customer credit applications are processed accurately and swiftly.
