Under the supervision of the Chief Business Official, the accountant performs accounting work, assist with budget preparation and fiscal matters by maintaining journals and the general ledger for all funds; reconciling accounting reports; preparing the monthly cash report; initiating journal entries for budget and financial reporting, direct support program costs and transfer, accrual and revisions; calculating district revenue for budget purposes; analyzing income and expenditure records; and other related tasks to support the business department.
