Accounting and Human Resources Specialist

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Accounting and Human Resources Specialist.

Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual who can effectively manage both accounting and human resources functions within our organization. The Accounting and Human Resources Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes while also supporting our HR initiatives.

Responsibilities:

1. Accounting:

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.

Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.

Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Generate financial reports for management review.

Assist with year-end audit preparation.

2. Human Resources:

Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with employment regulations.

Assist with employee relations issues and conflict resolution.

Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. Examples include: Three years of responsible clerical accounting experience that demonstrates application or possession of the required knowledge and abilities. Formal education in bookkeeping or accounting.

Previous experience in both accounting and human resources roles preferred.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Knowledge of HR regulations and best practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Business Management and experience with EOS a plus.

Full Time or Part Time. Remote or in person at our Aptos office location.
