Basic Duties:
Process payments to vendors
Process payroll using Paychex on-line
Monthly billing using specialized program.
Use of Excel, Word
Accounting/recordkeeping using Sage50 accounting system
Other duties as required including:
Account payable follow-up with vendors
Communicate with and support fellow staff members
Maintain Excel schedules
Assist outside accountant with G/L and audits and financial reports
Requirements for position:
Strong attention to detail and good math ability.
Accounting or bookkeeping experience.
Demonstrated competency with computers, Excel and Word.
Accounting education desired but not required if have demonstrated accounting skills and knowledge.
Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Ability and desire to learn our accounting, payroll processing and monthly billing system.
Communicate effectively
Work independently.
Calm natured, patient, and pride in what you do.
Desire to take on new challenges when needed
