IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a Billing Coordinator to support invoicing and AR collections for IXL and its subsidiaries.
The ideal candidate for this position is exceedingly well-organized, sociable, and independent. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high efficiency and accuracy is crucial.
This is a full time position in our San Mateo, CA headquarters office.
What You'll Be Doing
Review purchase orders, sales contracts, and quotes to ensure accuracy against corresponding invoices
Print, e-mail, mail, and upload invoices to customers and their vendor portals as needed and in a timely manner
Accurately sort incoming checks and research any that are unidentified
Process checks and credit card payments to their respective invoices
Manage and resolve customer inquiries via e-mail and phone in a timely and professional manner
Work closely with sales operations team to reconcile any discrepancies between internal sales database and NetSuite
Perform other related duties as assigned
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
1+ years of accounting experience a plus
Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized
Strong typing and 10-key skills (40-70 WPM with >90% accuracy; 12,000 KPH with >98% accuracy)
Strong written and oral communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Windows OS
Energetic, mature, positive person who thrives on working independently
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision
Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of employee and company information
Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce a plus
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base hourly rate for this full-time position is $26 to $34 per hour + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
