A small CPA firm located in downtown Oakland is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team. This is a full-time position with a focus on financial audits and reviews, primarily for nonprofit organizations.
Responsibilities:
Conduct financial audits and reviews for nonprofit organizations
Assist with the preparation of financial statements
Perform data analysis and financial reporting
Collaborate with senior accountants and other team members on various projects
Communicate effectively with clients to gather information and provide updates
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
