Full time position at growing company for person with relevant experience who can show stability and longevity at previous jobs. Must know Excel and have experience with Quickbooks. Should be a good communicator, organized, dependable, accurate, and able to work independently. Establish and maintain effective and positive working relationships. Duties included but not limited to:
Process weekly payroll
Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
Review all employee hours to ensure accuracy
Monitor timely receipt of payroll required documents
Respond to government inquiries on employee pay and deductions
Process deductions, maintain records and reports for all payroll deductions
Prepare audit reports as needed by CFO and Accounting on wages, deductions, vacation and sick accruals
Calculate and process off-cycle manual checks, supplemental and adjustment payrolls
Reconcile retroactive pay increases
Audit and distribute annual IRS forms
Reconcile employee benefit deductions and maintain benefit files
Interpret payroll policies and procedures for company employees of all levels
Assist with and monitor compliance of organization’s policies regarding time and attendance
Prepare payroll documentation and respond to information requests for annual organizational and union audits
Perform duties as assigned
Implement working knowledge of payroll best practices
Be familiar with federal and state regulations
Maintain confidentiality with all payroll-related matters
Using good analytical skills
Verify employee expenses for reimbursement
