Rubrik, Inc. in Palo Alto, CA has multiple openings for the role of Senior Financial Analyst.
Responsibilities: The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for performing and updating long-term financial forecasts on a weekly basis. Further responsibilities include: updating all relevant metrics to report to management and leadership regarding the financial health of the company; executing monthly and quarterly financial and accounting close cycles to provide leadership with variances and explanations on actual performance versus forecast; maintaining and improving complex forecast models at quarter end to maintain accurate revenue, actuarial, and financial metrics projects that drive critical decision-making; leveraging a combination of processes and tools to export, manipulate, and analyze large product-level datasets to track performance of various programs and products across the company; engaging business partners to problem solve, discuss findings, and gather data that feed into assumptions and drive forecasts and projects; consolidating financial analysis, forecasts, and company performance for Board of Director presentations; and performing other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in Palo Alto, CA.
Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or closely related field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 3 years of experience in the job offered or related accounting or financial analyst positions. Other special requirements include: 3 years of experience utilizing at least four (4) of the following accounting/financial analytics tools: Excel, SAP, PowerBI, PowerQuery, PowerPoint, Dynamics, PIMS, Salesforce, Tableau, Netsuite, and/or Adaptive; 3 years of experience performing the following tasks: data analysis, financial modeling, and financial analysis; 3 years of experience planning and executing yearly budgetary initiatives; 3 years of experience establishing forward looking models to forecast yearly performance; and 3 years of experience posting journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Wage: $136K to $155K
