Tax Senior

We are looking for a Tax Senior to join our growing team. The Tax Senior is a key player in providing premium tax services and advisory work, ensuring compliance with both tax laws and GAAP standards. Central to building and maintaining strong client relationships, this role demands exceptional service delivery. The Tax Senior works in close partnership with both the management team and professional staff, aiming to complete client engagements with efficiency and precision. Moreover, this position is instrumental in the professional growth and development of the firm’s staff, guided by the leadership of senior management. This role reports to Tax Managers and Supervisors

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and analyze clients' tax reports, accounting records, financial statements, and other financial documents utilizing a variety of accounting and statistical tools to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting and procedural standards in line with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Conduct research on tax issues and provide clients with advice on optimal accounting practices tailored to their specific industry.

Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to forecast future revenues and expenses, and offer strategic advice on US and international tax laws.

Communicate financial information and strategic advice to client management.

Evaluate and improve clients’ document record-keeping and accounting systems with the latest technology, developing and implementing policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls and compliance.

Manage accounts, prepare and review reconciliations, and ensure accurate journal entries for clients.

Calculate taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with tax payments, reporting, and other requirements.

Advise clients on various matters, including compensation, employee health care benefits, accounting or data processing systems, or long-range tax or estate planning.

Develop and analyze budgets, preparing reports to compare budgeted costs against actual costs.

Offer external auditing services for clients, collaborating with internal auditors and finance managers for annual financial audits.

Prepare financial reports and presentations, utilizing computer spreadsheets to depict technical data.

Conduct financial modeling and analysis for budgeting and forecasting purposes, reviewing and analyzing financial and economic data for tax and regulatory compliance using diverse statistical and accounting tools.

Qualifications:

At least two years of substantial experience in tax and accounting.

Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance, advancing towards a CPA license.
