Job Summary
The Facility Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of our facility. This position requires a proactive leader who can manage a team effectively while ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, particularly in maintenance management, and be familiar with high-voltage systems and logic controllers. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance staff to ensure efficient operation of facility systems.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking maintenance tasks and schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, including the use of voltmeters and ohmmeters, to ensure proper functionality.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues with facility equipment.
- Manage high voltage electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in maintenance management and safety protocols.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on performance metrics.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a facility or maintenance environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including logic controllers and high-voltage applications.
- Familiarity with using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective team management.
- Experience with CMMS is preferred but not mandatory.
- A background in managing teams in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
