Customer Service Office Position (Boulder Creek / Hybrid WFH)

Tablebases.com has a position available for a customer service representative in Boulder Creek. This position will report directly to the CEO. Our small team sells restaurant furniture by working directly with our customers (on the phone and via email, not in person) to help them make decisions about our products and manage their orders. You do not need to know anything about the furniture business, we will train you! There are no quotas or commissions. We’re a small team, so there’s a lot of room for growth and creativity.

To start, this will be an in person position at our office in Boulder Creek. Once you are trained and able to work independently, there is an opportunity for some work from home days if desired.

Hours: M-F from 10AM to 5PM in Boulder Creek

Job Duties Will Include:

-Assist the CEO with calls and scheduling

-Communicate with customers by phone, instant message, and email

-Identify and assess customers’ needs to point them to relevant products

-Enter new orders into our system

-Occasionally adapting to schedule changes when others are out of the office

-Invoice orders and send tracking information to customers

-Manage relationships with vendors

-Light bookkeeping (accounts receivable)

-Other general office tasks

The right candidate will have:

-A friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor

-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

-Reliable transportation (or live near our office)

-The ability to type 50 words per minute

-Good conversation / telephone skills in English

-Familiarity with computers and the ability to navigate web-based software and email programs

Bonus qualities that aren’t required:

Ability to speak and write in Spanish

Experience managing social media accounts

Bookkeeping experience

This is an in-office position in Boulder Creek with the potential for a hybrid schedule in the future. We have a very nice & spacious air conditioned office, and you’ll have your own space with an electrically adjustable stand/sit desk. This is not a commission based position, and there are no individual sales targets to worry about! This could be a great position for someone who wants hands-on experience learning business management by working directly with senior management.
