Bay Chevron is seeking candidates to fill a full-time cashier position. The shift includes 5 days a week, including weekends, from 2pm to 10pm. Pay starts at $19.00 per hour, possibly more depending on past experience as a cashier. Employees get paid twice per month via direct deposit on the 6th and 21st of each month. Employees also receive one week paid vacation after one year of employment, two weeks paid vacation after three years of employment. Candidates must be punctual, reliable, happy and enjoy working with others.
Job duties include:
- Showing up on time every shift
- Giving excellent customer service
- Being happy and a team player
- Using a touch screen POS cash register
- Conduct basic transactions
- Check ID on Lottery, cigarette and alcohol purchases
- Order, receive, price and stock deliveries from vendors
- Conduct start and end of shift procedures
- Count money in register and Lottery scratchers each shift
- Basic maintenance of facility and property
- Follow instructions on how to make fast food for warmer grill
