Minimum requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous warehouse and delivery experience preferred.
Positive attitude.
Professional and clean appearance.
Clean DMV & drug screen required.
Excellent communication, literacy, and numeracy skills. Ability to communicate clearly is vital.
Ability to function well as part of a team.
Diligent attention to safety.
High level of efficiency and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Frequent holding and grasping with hands when loading and unloading equipment.
Bilingual in English/Spanish is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
Loading and unloading of products for customers and freight forwarders.
General safety and operation knowledge of walk-behind and ride-on equipment shop forklifts.
Account for inventory control by following standard operating procedures.
Warehouse and office upkeeping.
Meeting and complying to all of Bearing Engineering operational procedures and QC standards.
Account for any other duties as assigned by Bearing Engineering management team.
Proactive and reactive communications via phone calls and emails, ordering, receiving, expediting and multitasking in an organized and timely manner.
Continually work at gaining more knowledge through various training opportunities as well as learning from peers and self-courses.
Be proficient and apply close attention to details in the use of the company operating system. Training will continuously be provided.
Utilize key suppliers when ordering products.
Having a keen ability to recognize new business and customer opportunities is desirable.
Treat customers as well as team members in a kind and respectful manner. The golden rule applies everyday at Bearing Engineering.
