We are Petites Merveilles, a French immersion at home micro-preschool. We play, garden, cook, do all kinds of art and have a lot of fun together. 10:30am - 5:30pm 35 hours per week, can be flexible for the right candidate.
Paid federal holidays and school breaks including 3 weeks in the summer.

Responsibilities :
- Assist lead teacher in implementing activities
- Provide support and guidance to students in various areas of development
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for students
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Foster a love for learning through engaging and interactive activities
- Promote literacy education by speaking, singing, and reading to students
Skills:
- Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting, preferably Montessori
- Knowledge of childhood development and early childhood education principles
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
- Ability to work collaboratively with lead teacher and other staff members
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with students of varying abilities
