Hi there! We’re a family based in Half Moon Bay looking for a proactive Family Assistant to help us stay organized and supported during our busy weeks. We have two girls (8-year-old and 17-year-old) as well as a friendly cat. We value kindness, creativity, responsibility and a home that runs smoothly.
We’re looking for an experienced professional who’s caring, detail-oriented and enjoys being part of a family team. The role is approximately 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
What you'll help with:
-Driving our 17-year-old between Half Moon Bay and San Mateo
-Light household upkeep (we have a regular housekeeper—this is more about tidying, organizing)
-Folding and putting away laundry
-Helping with home organization and sorting/donating outgrown toys and clothes
-Grocery shopping and restocking household essentials
-Light meal prep or cooking dinner 2–3 times per week (basic, healthy meals)
-Coordinating with vendors and handymen as needed
-Miscellaneous errands and projects that help the home run smoothly
Who we're hoping to meet:
-Someone who is experienced as a family assistant or nanny (min 5 years required)
-Kind and great with kids & teens
-Proactive, discreet, responsible and thoughtful
-Comfortable taking initiative and working independently
-A love of creativity, nature, and family life is a plus!

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week. Flexible schedule but generally 4 hour shifts after school from Monday through Friday.
