We are looking for a full-time classroom teacher to work M-F eight hours a day in the 2’s two class. There will be a maximum of 8 children in the class. Must have experience working with twos, changing diapers, potty training and be able to interact with their parents in a professional manner. Teachers are responsible for lesson planning and prepping for their classroom.
Applicant must have completed a minimum of 12 units of Early Childhood Education coursework and be able to provide a copy of transcripts. Must also have fingerprint clearance or be willing to be fingerprinted prior to begin work at the center. A pre-employment physical and T.B. Test as well as proof of MMR and Tdap shots must be completed prior to starting work or have a copy of each that is less than one year old. You will also be asked to complete or provide verification of completion of a First Aid and CPR certification. Sexual Harassment Training, Mandated Reporter Training, and Integrated Pest Management Training must be completed within 1 week of hire. These 3 training are done online.
We offer paid holidays after 3 months of hire and you earn PTO (Paid Time Off) from date of hire. We have a 50/50 paid Kaiser Medical Plan with Delta Dental and Chiropractic available after the required waiting period for new hires.
